AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Port Scandalous Roller Derby to hold second bout April 5

SEQUIM — Tickets are available for the The Port Scandalous Roller Derby team bout versus the Dockyard Roller Derby team out of Tacoma on April 5.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the bout beginning at 6 p.m. at the Sequim Boys and Girls Club at 400 W. Fir St. Tickers are $12 in advance for adults 13 and older and $15 at the door. To buy tickets ahead of time, people can go to https://tinyurl.com/PortScandalous2.

There will be a beer garden for people 21 and older. Online sales stop 24 hours prior to the event. On the day of the bout, tickets must be purchased at the door. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Trackside seating and the first row of bleachers are off-limits to people under 18.

Laurel Lanes kids

PORT ANGELES — Registration is open for Laurel Lanes’ kids bowl free program.

Kids Bowl Free provides two free games of bowling each day for youth from ages 2 to 18. Shoe rental is not included.

The program runs from March 31 until Labor Day.

Family passes also can be purchased for a one-time fee, which allows parents or other adults in the family to participate and bowl two games with the kids each day.
