AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Pirate Casino Night postponed to March 1

Pirate Casino Night delayed to March 1

BLYN — Pirate Casino Night, a fundraiser for the Peninsula College athletic department, has been postponed to March 1.

The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. at 7 Cedars Casino in Blyn.

It was originally set for Feb. 15.

Tickets are $90 and are still available by contacting Athletic Development Coordinator Donald Rollman at drollman @pencol.edu.

“We didn’t want to put our fans at risk given the weather and road conditions this week,” Rollman said. “This event is so important to our athletic program, we’re hopeful those who already purchased tickets will be able to attend on March 1. We’re also hopeful that some of our regulars who weren’t able to attend Friday will be able to join us on the new date.”
