AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: Peninsula Soccer League results

PORT ANGELES — Windermere and High Energy Metals remained locked on top of the Peninsula Soccer League standings, winning games Sunday at Wally Sigmar Field.

Windermere beat Pantry & Latch 4-2 with two goals from Josh Boe and goals from Caim Valles and Simon Close. Michael Ingraham scored a pair of goals for Ingraham.

High Energy Metals beat Ediz Hook 5-1. Liam Harris scored two goals, while Andrew Cooper, Travis Priest and Dustin Walsh all scored goals. Robin Pietschmann scored for Ediz Hook.

Forks FC remained in a close second place with a 4-2 win over Salazar Painting. Luis Perez and Hugo Sandoval each scored two goals for Forks, while Rafa Flores scored a pair for Salazar.

Strait Slice beat Meyer Electric 2-1. Taryn Asmus and Jimmy Quickley scored for Strait Slice while Brandon Wagner had Meyer electric’s goal.

Los Primos shut out the Bandidos FC 3-0. Freddie Torres scored a pair of goals for Los Primos, while Tele Torres had a goal.

After this week, Windermere and High Energy Metals stand at 4-0-1 (13 points), while Forks FC is right behind at 4-1-0 (12 points).

Strait Slice stands at 3-1-1 (10 points) and Salazar at 3-2-0 (9 points).
