Crosscutters holding 11U baseball tryouts

SEQUIM — Olympic Crosscutters will hold tryouts for its new 11U summer travel baseball team this Saturday and again Sunday, May 7.

The tryouts will be held at the baseball field at Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave., at 6 p.m. both days.

The team will play in eight tournaments between June and August.

It will be coached by Adam Johnson of Port Angeles, Justin Giles of Sequim and Dan Anderson of Jefferson County.

The team will work with players who are already participating in other programs and work with players and coaches to accomodate existing schedules so players can play on more than one team.
