SEATTLE — After beating Naselle last week 58-20, Neah Bay has moved up to No. 2 among 1B schools in the most recent Washington football prep poll released Wednesday.

Neah Bay and Wilbur-Creston each have 47 points. Odessa is ranked No. 1 with 60 points. Mossyrock, which just beat Quilcene 54-16, is ranked No. 5. Naselle remains sixth with 16 points.

Almira Coulee-Hartline, the defending state 1B champion, is ranked No. 3 with 30 points.

Forks, the next highest-ranked Olympic Peninsula team, is No. 4 in the 2B rankings with 41 points.

The Pacific 2B and Central 2B leagues dominate the rankings. Napavine, a Pacific 2B opponent the Spartans will play at the end of the season, is ranked No. 1 with 69 points. Onalaska is ranked No. 3 with 43. Adna is sixth with 29 and Raymond, another team Forks will play on Sept. 30, is seventh with 24.

Royal tops the 1A rankings with 88 points. King’s, which beat East Jefferson last week 48-6, is third with 65 points, and Tenino, which beat 2A Sequim 52-14, is sixth with 40 points. Sequim has lost to two ranked opponents as the Wolves were also beaten by Forks 32-14 to open the season.

Lynden, a perennial powerhouse, leads the 2A rankings with 90 points. North Kitsap, which Port Angeles plays Saturday at Lumen Field in Seattle, is fourth with 60 points.

Anacortes, which beat Port Angeles 57-0, is ranked No. 9 with 17 points, so that it two very tough opponents back-to-back for the Roughriders.

Yelm is tops for 3A schools, while Lake Stevens is the top 4A school.
