Hurricane Ridge partners with 54 other ski areas on Indy Pass

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Peninsula Motorcycle Club will host the first Triple Crown Fall Series race weekend of the season Saturday and Sunday at its course off Deer Park Road.

Gates open at 6 p.m. tonight, and 7 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

Practice sessions start at 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, with racing occurring Sunday.

Classes range in experience from beginner to master and in size from 50cc to 450cc.

Entry fees are $10 per person for the weekend.

Practice fees are $15 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and racing fees are $30 per class.

Camping also is available, free for members and $15 per vehicle for nonmembers.

Exact cash is the only currency accepted.

All attendees will have their temperatures taken via infrared thermometer.

Organizers ask that you follow COVID-19 distancing and masking guidelines. A failure to do so will result in being asked to leave the event.

Additional Triple Crown Series races are planned Sept. 27 and Oct. 3.

Indy Pass for Ridge

PORT ANGELES — Hurricane Ridge Ski and Snowboard Area will participate in the Indy Pass program for the 2020-21 winter season, providing a multi-mountain pass to 54 other independent resorts across North America.

Washington ski resorts included in the deal are White Pass, Mission Ridge and 49 Degrees North.

Prices for the base Indy Pass are $199 for an adult, $99 for children 12 and younger.

An Indy+ Pass, which provides access to a handful of resorts that have peak-day blackouts, is $299 for adults and $199 for 12 and younger.

Full-season Hurricane Ridge pass holders can purchase the Indy Add-On Pass for $129 for adults, $69 for 12 and younger.

Indy Pass promoters also have developed “The Get America Skiing Promise,” a program which will provide protection for pass purchases in the face of COVID-19 uncertainty.

Indy Pass holders who use the pass less than four days this winter will receive an automatic credit of up to 80 percent toward a 2021-2022 Indy Pass.

Indy Pass holders also can receive a 10 percent discount on lodging costs with a number of independently owned lodging properties.
