PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Lefties are seeking local talent to broadcast every home game this summer from Civic Field.
The team is looking for those with experience in sports broadcasting.
Team broadcaster is a paid position.

Rivals honors
CHIMACUM — Two East Jefferson athletes have been honored with selection to the Class 1A Nisqually League’s girls tennis All-League team.
East Jefferson’s Tiffany Bell and Sophia Arnovitz were selected by league coaches to the second team.
East Jefferson also earned the league’s Sportsmanship Award.
No individual league MVP or doubles duo MVPs were announced.
Softball pushed back
CENTRALIA — Heavy rain in the forecast wiped out Wednesday’s complete slate of Class 2B SW District IV softball, including Forks’ matchup with Rainier.
Play has been rescheduled to today with the Spartans set to face the Mountaineers at 2 p.m. at Fort Borst Park in Centralia.
Pac-12 to drop divisions
Moments after the NCAA Division I Council tossed out requirements that dictate how football conferences can determine a champion, the Pac-12 announced Wednesday that it was scrapping its divisional format for the coming season.
The Pac-12 will now match the teams with the highest conference winning percentages in its title game after 11 seasons of matching winners of the North and South divisions.
Other conferences are expected to follow, most notably the 14-team Atlantic Coast Conference.
“Our goal is to place our two best teams in our Pac-12 football championship game, which we believe will provide our conference with the best opportunity to optimize CFP invitations and ultimately win national championships,” Pac-12 Commissioner George Kliavkoff said.
