BREMERTON — The Olympic Peninsula Track Club’s Eve Burke won all four events she entered in the 15-16 age group during the Bremerton Jaguars Track Meet on Saturday.
Burke won the 100 meters in 13.13 seconds, the 200 meters in 27.20, the high jump with a personal record 4 feet, 10 inches and the long jump with a leap of 15-9.
Also competing in the 15-16 age group, Riley Pyeatt won the 400 meters in 1:01.09 and her first-ever 800 meters in 2:28.16. Pyeatt also placed second to Burke in the 100 meters with a time of 13.38 and the long jump in 14-8½.
In the 13-14 age group, Bailee Larson established new personal records in four events while winning the 200-meter hurdles in 37.24 seconds, placed second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.58 and third in the long jump at 13-6. Larson placed second in the 100 meters with a time of 13.89.
Also in the 13-14 age group, Jayde Gettleman won the javelin with a distance of 76-1 and won the high jump at 4-0. She was fourth in the 200 meters at 31.73 second. Jacob Pyeatt ran a 4:57.56 1,500 meters to win the boys 17-18 category and followed that with at 2:22.77 800 meters.
Three athletes were competing in their first track competition in the younger divisions.
Birdie Pyeatt, competing in the 9-10 age group, placed fifth in the 100 meters at 16.63, fourth in the 200 at 36.03, and fourth in the 400 with a time of 1:25.87.
In the 11-12 age group, Taryn Johnson placed ninth in the 100 meters with a time of 16.10, third in the 400 meters in 1:13.93 and third in the 1,500 meters in 6:95.92.
Ashton Gedelman, competing in the 9-10 age group, earned third place in the 1,500 meters with a time of 6:36.42, 10th in the long jump with a mark of 7-8½ and 15th in the 100 meters with a time of 18.20.

Golf All-League
PORT ANGELES — Sequim’s Paul Jacobsen and Sarah Shea and Port Townsend’s Mackenzie Lake all were named MVPs in Olympic League golf.
Lake was named the girls 1A MVP, while Jacobsen the boys 2A MVP and Shea the girls 2A MVP.
