ALL-PENINSULA GIRLS TRACK: 2019 honorees

All-Peninsula Girls MVP — Millie Long, Port Angeles. State 2A champion in the 300-meter hurdles. Seventh at state in the 100-meter hurdles and 10th in the long jump. 23 first-place finishes and 36 top 3 finishes on the season.

All-Peninsula girls track and field team

Lauren Larson, Port Angeles — Second at the 2A state championships in the 800 and the 3,200. Third at state in the 1,600. 21 first-place finishes and 29 top 3 finishes. Won the North Olympic Discovery Marathon 10K women’s race.

Myra Walker, Port Angeles — Fourth at the 2A state championships in the shot put. 5 first-place finishes and Olympic League 2A champion in the shot put. 10 top 3 finishes.

Riley Pyeatt, Sequim — Fifth at the 2A state championships in the 400. 12 first-place finishes. 28 top 3 finishes.

Elizabeth Sweet, Sequim — Sixth at the 2A state championships and West-Central District III 2A champion in the pole vault. 5 first-place finishes and eight top 3 finishes.

Jada Trafton, Chimacum — Seventh at the 1A state championships in the long jump. Five first-place finishes and 20 top 3 finishes.

Elizabeth Shifflett, Chimacum — Eighth at the 1A state championships in the 100 hurdles. 3 first-place finishes and 14 top 3 finishes.

Miriam Wonderly, Clallam Bay — Eighth in the 200 meters and 11th in the high jump at the 1B state championships. 9 first-place finishes and 18 top 3 finishes.

Hannah Olson, Clallam Bay — 10th in long jump, 11th in shot put and 12th in javelin at the state 1B championships. 15 first-place finishes and 27 top 3 finishes.

Kynzie DeLeon, Port Angeles — 10th in the 3,200 and 13th in the 1,600 at the 2A championships. 6 first-place finishes and 19 top 3 finishes.

Eileen Leoso, Port Townsend — 12th at state 1A championships in the javelin. 11 first-place finishes and 15 top 3 finishes.
