ALL-OLYMPICS VOLLEYBALL: Sequim puts Stovall, Berglund on first team

SEQUIM — The Sequim Wolves, coming off a successful Olympic League season in volleyball, got two players named to the league’s first team and another to the second team.

Sequim finished the season 11-3 in league in second place behind Bainbridge. The Spartans had the Olympic League MVP in Holly McFadden and the Defensive Player of the Year in Kira O’Malley.

The Wolves’ Arianna Stovall, a senior, made first team as a middle hitter. She consistently led Sequim all season in kills. Also making first team was junior setter Kenzi Berglund.

Making the second team wereSequim libero Tiffany Lam, and Port Angeles’ Jordin Dunaway.

Making the honorable mention team were Rose Gibson, a sophomore, as a middle hitter, and junior outside hitter Brianna Palenick, as an outside hitter.

Sequim’s Kassi Montero made the all-sportsmanship team as did Port Angeles’ Jazzmen Murray.
