SEQUIM — An Everett-area fisherman pulled in a 75-inch, 225-pound halibut near Sequim on Friday.

Our outdoors columnist, Lee Horton, is working on a full report for Sunday’s editions, but we thought you’d like to see a photo of the monster catch by Woody Woods.

We understand that the halibut was caught after a roughly 45-minute fight off Dungeness Spit.

Check back tomorrow for Lee’s report.
