1B BOYS STATE BASKETBALL: Neah Bay loses to Pomeroy 59-50

SPOKANE — Neah Bay’s state championship hopes were dashed with a 59-50 loss to Pomeroy in the 1B state semifinals Friday afternoon.

The Red Devils will play for third place tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. They will face the loser between Colton and Shorewood Christian.

Zeke Greene led Neah Bay with 17 points and Josiah Greene had 11.

SPOKANE — The Neah Bay boys basketball team finds itself in a hole at halftime, trailing Pomeroy 30-13 in the 1B state semifinals at Spokane Arena.

Ryan Moss leads the Red Devils with five points, while four others have two apiece.

The winner of this game will advance to tomorrow’s 1B state championship game.
