LETTER: Sound of freedom

Sound of freedom

“Judge: Growler Flights Continue.”

Which came first, practice flights or the population density of the northeast Olympic Peninsula?

What are people thinking here?

Come on, this is the “sound of freedom.”

I live in Sequim and this sound is enjoyable to me.

Heck maybe people with a beef about the noise should move to an Air Force Global Strike Command base where they fly the B-1 Lancer, or even better the B-52 Stratofortress.

Our aviators need to train and in these days of limited flight time and simulators, they need all the flight time they can get.

Don’t folks understand we need to support Department of Defense operations?

There no more NAS Barbers Point and NAS Moffet; these folks are flying up from NAS Lemoore.

What’s next? Do we get rid of Naval Magazine Indian Island because people don’t like subs?

How much DOD money flows into Washington’s economy anyway?
