LETTER: PA Clinic, Wow

PA clinic: Wow

We’d like to gratefully acknowledge those who laid the groundwork for and logistically orchestrated this past weekend’s COVID vaccinations for seniors.

Port Angeles was shining.

Everything went so smoothly with no long lines of cars or people and friendly, helpful volunteers everywhere you looked outside and inside the high school gymnasium.

All we can say is “Wow! Did they have their act together.”

It’s a model that should be used throughout our country.

It’s our understanding that North Olympic Healthcare Network took a great part in giving the injections and taking care of all health details including having their lead man, Dr. Michael Maxwell, watching over with such care.

Their kind staff volunteered as senior after senior was given this blessed vaccine in an environment that caused us to say, “Boy, don’t we feel lucky to live here in Port Angeles with these great people.”

A big thank you all for being so smart, savvy and caring.

Michael Thomas
