This is a note from a citizen.
Many friends have told me they plan to not vote in November.
It is a citizen’s duty to vote.
In some countries, citizens are fined for failing to vote.
Democracy doesn’t work if everybody stays home.
The Nov. 8 election is not only about the presidency.
The ballot involves all sorts of ballot measures and races ranging from Congress to county commissioner.
When one casts his or her vote, one is not electing a political party.
Rather, one is electing a lot of individuals to do a wide variety of things.
Be a real citizen.
Don’t stay home and cast your vote against America.
