LETTER: Hillary calling Trump a racist is high hypocrisy

The Republican presidential candidate simply wants black people to take their lives back.

Hillary Clinton essentially called Donald Trump a racist in an Aug. 25 speech.

Let’s review “Just the facts, ma’am,” as Dragnet’s Joe Friday says.

In 1857, the Supreme Court, with the two dissenting justices the only Republicans, decided that Dred Scott was not a citizen but property.

During the Civil War, Democrats gave their lives to preserve and expand slavery.

All but four Democrats voted against the House’s first attempt to pass the 13th Amendment to end slavery.

Senate debates in 1871 revealed that members of the Democratic Party formed the Ku Klux Klan to murder and intimidate black voters.

Democrats controlled the South for about seven decades, from the beginning of the Jim Crow era to Brown vs. Board of Education, to keep “the white man’s party” in power.

Eighty percent of those voting “nay” to end the filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Act were Democrats.

Democrats support affirmative action, which I believe is the same as quotas, with its bigotry of low expectations; support “no-work” welfare, which destroys black families; support abortion, which has killed 16 million blacks since 1973, according to www.blackgenocide.org; run high-crime, high-poverty cities like Detroit, Oakland and Philadelphia, degrading thousands of black lives; oppose school choice, which benefits poor black children; and foster policies that perpetuate illegal immigration, which takes jobs from black Americans.

By calling Trump a racist, Clinton insinuates his supporters are racist, which is demonstrably false.

Trump simply wants to release blacks from the Democrats’ chains of political slavery and give people the freedom to improve their lives.

Hillary Clinton is a venal, lying, nasty piece of work.

Voters should send her packing in November.
