World Vision Global 6K for Water set Saturday at Sequim church

SEQUIM — The Sequim Valley Church of the Nazarene will host a team for the World Vision Global 6K for Water at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The run/walk fundraiser will be held at the Sequim Valley Church of the Nazarene, 481 Carlsborg Road.

The event will raise money for clean water projects worldwide.

According to the World Vision website, 6 kilometers, which is approximately 3.7 miles, is the average distance a person in the developing world has to walk to find water.
