SHINE — A Port Hadlock woman sustained minor injuries in a two-car, head-on collision on the Hood Canal Bridge, according to the State Patrol.
A white 2014 Ford F-550 was traveling eastbound on state Highway 104 at about 10 p.m. Tuesday when the driver crossed the center line and struck a grey 2012 Toyota Scion headed in the opposite direction, according to the State Patrol.
The driver of the Scion, 41-year-old Mary Rodriquez of Port Hadlock, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton. She was later discharged, according to a hospital spokesperson. She was the only one injured in the wreck.
The driver of the Ford, a 33-year-old Bulmaro Hernandez Pulido, from Seattle, was charged with driving over the center line, the State Patrol said.
Each vehicle contained a passenger. Markal S. Champine, 18, of Des Moines was in Hernandez Pulido’s car, and Isabelle E. Jonland, 35, was in Rodriquez’ car.
All were wearing their seat belts.
Drugs or alcohol were not believed to be involved, according to the report.
