Art exhibit
The art exhibit — which opened last month at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd. — remains on display. It can be seen from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays now through June 26.
The exhibition features unique pieces in two-dimensional and three-dimensional art, organizers said.
Among them are a piece made from a breast implant, a lighted steel drawing of 2-inch-by-2-inch squares arranged in a trifold screen and a fantasy etching that requires hours of study to see the many finely etched details, organizers said.
The Olympic Peninsula Art Association was known as Sequim Arts until Dec. 31.
The name change reflects the organization’s commitment to serving all visual artists on the Olympic Peninsula, according to its website.
