The dinner — the first offered at the Queen of Angels gym, 209 W. 11th St., Port Angeles — is not sponsored by the church, Knight said.

It’s the inspiration of three Port Angeles women who work at Queen of Angels, she said: herself, Tammy Gallagher, and Reath Ellefson.

Donations have come in, and Ellefson “has been whipping this up,” Knight said.
