SORRY! THOSE HOPING to get out of holiday shopping due to the end of the world will be seeing Christmas this year.
And New Year’s. And the next Arbor Day.
The Mayans’ supposed doomsday has already been proved wrong.
Across the International Date Line, December 21 has already arrived in New Zealand and Australia, where it’s now Friday.
The world and all humankind haven’t been destroyed.
(Some people tweeted that the world had ended in Australia, but not to worry, there was WiFi in Hell.)
As you know, NASA has been so confident the world wasn’t ending that it released a video explaining its reasoning 10 days ahead of schedule.
The video, meant to be released on Saturday (Dec. 22), explains why the world wasn’t destroyed the day before. We’ve posted the video last Sunday, and here it is again (scroll down):
