Clallam County seeks someone to build an organization needed to satisfy a $25,000 scenic byways grant for state Highway 112.
Craig Jacobs, county public works director, told county commissioners at a Monday work session that hiring a part-time scenic byways coordinator was necessary as part of the federal byways grant that was matched by the Clallam Bay-Sekiu Chamber of Commerce.
The Clallam Bay SR 112 Corridor Action Team wrote the successful grant application.
The county commissioners are expected to approve the request for proposals to fill the byway coordinator position.
