PORT TOWNSEND — A trio of women will appear in “A Literary Evening with Seattle Writers” at the Writers’ Workshoppe, 234 Taylor St., this Saturday.
Erica Bauermeister, author of The School of Essential Ingredients and Joy for Beginners; Jennie Shortridge, whose novels include Love and Biology at the Center of the Universe and Love, Water, Memory; and Carol Cassella, author of Healer and Oxygen, will gather at 7 p.m. for this event. Admission is free, while the writers’ books will be available for purchase and signing.
In addition to readings from the three women’s works, Writers’ Workshoppe owner Anna Quinn will moderate a panel discussion on their writing processes, career trajectories and new projects. A question-and-answer session will round out the evening.
