SEQUIM — Tonight’s First Friday Art Walk, the free event all over downtown Sequim, brings together a nationally known artist, a player of the African kora and, as ever, a color theme. It’s green of course, in anticipation of spring and the feast of Saint Patrick on the 17th. Participants are encouraged to dress or accessorize in any shade of green during the walk, which happens from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. Attractions include:
■ The Blue Whole Gallery, where nationally known artist Barbara De Pirro is showing her nature-inspired work. Art lovers are invited to explore De Pirro’s show, titled “Shadows and Reflections,” all month at the Blue Whole, 129 W. Washington St.
De Pirro will also give a free, public art talk at 6:30 p.m. March 25 at the gallery.
■ The Lavish Day Spa, a new Art Walk venue at 115 N. Sequim Ave., is displaying Jan Kepley’s fine art photography.
■ Colors of Sequim Fine Art Materials, 139 W. Washington St., hosts a musical performance by Victor Reventlow.
