Today, tonight signify Friday, June 6.
SEQUIM — It’s First Friday Art Walk time again tonight, as downtown galleries, shops and cafes stay open from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. with art shows, music and refreshments.
And like every month, art walkers are encouraged to dress or accessorize in the color theme: white, for fresh canvases, open minds and perhaps June brides.
Those new to the walk can find a free map and information at SequimArtWalk.com., which lists participating venues such as these:
■ Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., presents “An Unusual Evening in Sequim,” a performance blending music, dance and prose at 6:30 p.m.
Dancer Cami Ortloff, choreographer Laurel Herrera and writers Karen Hogan, Tom Darter, Ruth Marcus and Peggy McCaffrey will combine their art forms for this free show.
■ The LARC, or Local Artists’ Resource Center, 425 E. Washington St., has a new show, “Shadow Jazz,” in which artists created outlines — shadows — of themselves and then fleshed them out to make self-portraits.
■ Doodlebugs, 138 W. Washington St., hosts a creative “happy hour” today from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., so visitors can stop in and work on craft projects.
■ The Sunshine Cafe, 145 W. Washington St., offers art buttons and apparel by multimedia artist and teacher Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond.
■ Pacific Pantry, 229 S. Sequim Ave., has fine art photography by Sequim’s Angelina Reese on display.

The opening reception will run from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
■ The Museum & Arts Center, aka the MAC at 175 W. Cedar St., opens “Farms, Barns and Cows,” a show of paintings and more.
