PORT ANGELES — Information on stormwater control, weatherization and food-waste reduction will be available at the city of Port Angeles booth at the Clallam County Fair.
The booth in the Merchant’s Building will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Stormwater Prevention Specialist Jonathan Boehme will demonstrate how a rain garden can reduce water runoff.
Rebates of up to $500 for building a rain garden are available for city residents.
Also available will be information on rebates for new windows, insulation and ductless heat pumps.
Waste-reduction specialist Helen Freilich will tell how to prevent food waste and compost the rest.
