Rimfire Shoot
FORKS — West End Sportsmen Club, 243 Sportsmen Club Road, will host a Rimfire Shoot on Saturday.
The shoot will begin at 10 a.m.
Participants should bring their own .22 LR rifle or pistol.
Targets will be silhouettes and Steel Challenge.

Free exercise demos
PORT ANGELES — A free introduction to upcoming TRX suspension training classes are offered by the Olympic Peninsula YMCA at 6 a.m. each Friday this month.
TRX stands for “total resistance exercise,” with the focus on strengthening the body’s core and improving balance and flexibility.
Instructor Wendy Hoine will offer demonstrations in the YMCA’s mat room, 302 S. Francis St.
Registration is not required.
Future TRX sessions and TRX/yoga sessions are planned in January.

Winter food drive
PORT ANGELES — Wenner-Davis & Associates Insurance is holding its winter food drive benefiting the Port Angeles Food Bank through Tuesday and is open this Friday for donations.
Donations can be dropped off at 102 E. First St. between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Friday.
Donors will be entered into a contest for gift cards/certificates for Bella Rosa Coffee House and Just Rewards Espresso.

Elvis songs
BLYN — Danny Vernon will perform “Illusions of Elvis” on Sunday.
The show at 7 Cedars Casino, Blyn, in the Club Seven lounge, will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Vernon will perform songs from all three decades of the King’s music.
There is no cover charge and it is open to those 21 and older.

Officer’s Quarters
PORT TOWNSEND — The Commanding Officer’s Quarters at Fort Worden State Park is decorated for the holidays and open for tours the week between Christmas and New Year’s.
The 1904 Edwardian-era home of Fort Worden’s commanders is open from noon to 5 p.m.
Admission is $4 for adults; free for Jefferson County Historical Society members.

Key City Theatre
PORT TOWNSEND — Performances of Key City Public Theatre’s second annual Holiday Music Spectacular continue this weekend.
The performances of “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” at the theater at 419 Washington St., will be at 7 p.m. tonight, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with 2:30 p.m. matinees on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
General admission tickets are $18 to $20; $10 for students.
The Sunday matinée is pay-what-you-wish, thanks to support from the Port Townsend Arts Commission.
The show features songs by writers ranging from Hoagy Carmichael to Aaron Neville.
The lobby and bar will be open one hour prior to show time.

Discount pool nights
PORT TOWNSEND — Fridays are discount nights at Port Townsend’s only public swimming pool, the Mountain View Pool at 1919 Blaine St.
The recreational swim from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. is $2 per person.
Floaty toys are available.
Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by a guardian.
