Sons of Norway dance
PORT ANGELES — The Sons of Norway group will host its weekly folk-ballroom-swing dance at 131 W. Fifth St. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Dance instruction is planned at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $2 for members and $3 for nonmembers.
This is an all-ages, no-smoking and no-alcohol event.

Gun show
CARLSBORG — The Pacific Northwest Shooting Park Association will host a gun show at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road, on Sunday.
The show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is $5 for adults, $7 for family. Children 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Round Trip to play
SEQUIM — Sunday evening dances with live music are about to start at the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road.
This Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the band Round Trip will dish out the rock, country and swing-friendly songs for an admission of $8 per person.
The Elks’ bar will be open with beverages and snacks.

SEQUIM — Buck Ellard will perform at the Sequim Prairie Grange hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
Admission to the dance at the grange hall at 290 Macleay Road will be $10 per person or $15 a couple.

PORT TOWNSEND
Earth Day cleanup
PORT TOWNSEND — A cleanup in honor of Earth Day this coming Wednesday and Arbor Day next Friday is planned at Kah Tai Lagoon Park on San Juan Avenue from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday.
Volunteers will meet at the Kah Tai parking lot near the restrooms. They should bring work gloves and dress for the weather.
Garbage bags, weed pullers, treats, tea and water will be provided.
Work will concentrate on the west side of the park. Look for the white pickup truck and green volunteer sign.
CHIMACUM
Travel author talk
CHIMACUM — Travel author Robert Goldstein will present “Riding with Reindeer: Bicycling through Finland” at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Goldstein will speak at the regular meeting of Thea Foss No. 45 Daughters of Norway at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road.
The public is invited to this free event.
He will talk about his solo adventure of more than 2,000 miles across Finland.
JOYCE
Lions Club breakfast
JOYCE — The Crescent Bay Lions Club offers breakfasts from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Sunday except holidays until Mother’s Day on May 10.
The cost is $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and younger.
The menu includes eggs cooked to order, hot cakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and ham, sausage or bacon.
The club is on state Highway 112 at Holly Hill Road.

Book fair
FORKS — Forks Elementary School will continue a book fair through Sunday.
Books will be offered for sale in Room 402 at the school at 301 S. Elderberry Ave. from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Bingo marathon
FORKS — The Forks Emblem Club will host a marathon bingo game from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The game will be at the Elks Lodge, 941 Merchants Road.
