PORT TOWNSEND — Goddard College’s Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts program will present “Emancipating Boundaries,” a two-day festival of new works and dialogue, on Saturday and Sunday on the campus of Fort Worden State Park.

Ten interdisciplinary artists from across the nation, students graduating from the low-residency master’s program, will be featured in art exhibitions, performances, community conversation and a commencement ceremony.

All events are free and open to the public.

Graduating students will collect donations to support Key City Public Theatre, the Centrum Foundation and the Northwind Arts Center.

Schedule of events

The festival will begin with opening receptions for the group art exhibitions and installation-based performances at 3 p.m. in Building 204 and 4:30 p.m. at the chapel.

At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, artists will present a theatrical performance in the Wheeler Theater.

At 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the USO building, artists will engage in a panel discussion about their experiences in the program.
