CHIMACUM — The Daughters of Norway, Thea Foss No. 45, will meet at the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road, at 1 p.m. Sunday.
They will host a regular meeting and presentation of “The Norwegian Royal Family: Presented in a Setting of Norwegian & Regional Nordic History” with Jean Kaldahl.
Membership is open to women of Nordic ancestry, and the public is welcome.

AAUW auction
PORT TOWNSEND — AAUW Port Townsend will host its annual silent auction at the Elks Lodge from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.
The auction will feature an array of new or gently used items and special experiences up for bid at the lodge at 555 Otto St.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Auction proceeds will go directly toward AAUW educational projects and scholarships.
Local singer Kevin Mason will emcee the event and provide musical entertainment.
This year, themed tables will display hand-crafted jewelry, artwork, linens, housewares, baskets, purses, games, books, CDs/DVDs and other items.
Experiences up for bid include an orchid greenhouse tour, a summer dinner, high tea for six, a two-hour summer sail and lunch for four, two tickets to the Wearable Art Show, two tickets to Key City Public Theatre, massages, facials, help with weeding, genealogy sessions and more.
AAUW will accept cash or checks only for the auction.

Bird photography
PORT TOWNSEND — Admiralty Audubon will host a bird photography session at Kah Tai Lagoon at 9 a.m. today.
Attendees will meet at the parking lot at Kah Tai and practice photographing whatever appears until around 11 a.m.
Anyone with a camera or who is thinking of buying a camera is invited.
Members will discuss and practice all aspects of bird photography, with a special emphasis on camera settings, light, behavior observations and more.

Spring show
PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula Men’s Gospel Singers will present their 13th annual spring show in the Port Angeles High School auditorium at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The group will be joined by the Americana worship band David and the Psalms, Little Brass Band and the Crab Fest Revival Choir, which combines singers from Clallam County high schools, college and other adults.
Karen Coles will signing for the hearing-impaired, and Penny Hall will accompany on piano.
