PORT ANGELES — The vaudeville performance troupe PA Cabaret will present “Kat House: Feline Fine Burlesque,” a vintage speakeasy-style show at the Metta Room, a new downtown venue, Saturday night.
“Audiences can expect a night of elaborate costumery, stunning choreography and sultry burlesque performance,” said PA Cabaret producer Siouxzie Q, aka Susan Hinton.
In addition to Siouxzie, performers include Kiki Cat, aka Kiki Littlefish; Ginger Le Ame Voleur, aka Eve Mathis; and mistress of ceremonies Noxious Oxalis, known offstage as Tana Villella.
This is “a dynamite show,” Siouxzie Q promised, “that is sure to dazzle and to bring the glamour of a classic Hollywood speakeasy to Port Angeles.”
Tickets are $15 through today at www.BrownPaperTickets.com or $20 at the door of the Metta Room, 132 E. Front St.
Guests age 18 and older are invited to the 9 p.m. show.
PA Cabaret was formed with the sole purpose of benefiting charitable causes, Siouxzie Q noted.
“Kiki and Eve have been the driving force beside me from day one of my silly little dream to dance our way to a better world,” she quipped, adding that the troupe has hosted “Banking on Burlesque” benefits for Port Angeles High School’s performing arts program and raised funds for local cancer support organizations via Noxious Oxalis’ “Bosom Buddies” show.
