WEEKEND: Autumnal hues brighten Sequim Art Walk tonight (Friday)

SEQUIM — “Tweaking Reality,” an improvisational comedy troupe, is poised to push the envelope.

Tonight being the night for Sequim’s First Friday Art Walk, the band of actors — Dave McInnes, Olivia Shea, Pamela Ziemann and Danny Willis — will host a free show at 6:30 p.m. at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave. That’s within strolling distance of the cafes, shops and other venues open from 5 p.m. till 8 p.m. for the Art Walk.

“It’s fun, it’s fresh,” OTA trustee Elaine Caldwell said of the Tweaking Reality crew. This evening’s improv, she added, “offers the actors and the audience alike an opportunity to press the envelope.” While there’s no charge for the show, OTA’s bar will be open to sell wine by the glass.

The Art Walk itself marks its eighth anniversary tonight with a color theme. Artist, teacher and organizer Renne Brock-Richmond picked orange, so art-walkers may choose to dress or accessorize in that hue as they explore the free art exhibits. For details and a map, see SequimArtWalk.com.
