‘A Life in the Theatre’
PORT TOWNSEND — Key City Public Theatre will present “A Life in the Theater” by David Mamet at the Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington St., at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, plus July 10-13.
Directed by Denise Winter and featuring John Considine, the play is a comedy about actors at the end and beginning of their careers.

Gospel Opry on stage
PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend eight-piece Gospel Opry will perform in its monthly stage show at New Life Church, 1636 Hastings Ave., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The show also features “finger pickin’ good” country music and the blazing fiddle of Jon Parry.
The two-hour show is free and family friendly.

Walking tours
PORT TOWNSEND — The Jefferson County Historical Society presents walking tours Saturday and Sunday.
Tours, which continue weekends through September, are free for historical society members and $10 for non-members.
“Sin at Sea Level,” a tour of downtown, is at 2 p.m. Saturday, beginning at the Jefferson Museum of Art & History, 540 Water St.
“The Moral High Ground,” a tour of uptown, is at 2 p.m. Sunday beginning at the Rothschild House Museum on the bluff at Franklin and Taylor streets.
The tours are with historically costumed guides, who point out architectural details and tell the history of the colorful characters who built Port Townsend.

Quilcene
Olympic Music Festival
QUILCENE — Visitors can bring a picnic, explore 55 acres of farmland and enjoy a chamber music concert by world-renowned musicians at the Olympic Music Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Concerts begin at 2 p.m. in the barn at the festival at 7360 Center Road.
Grounds open at 11:30 a.m. for picnicking, and the barn doors open at 1 p.m. for seating.
Barn tickets are $30 in advance and $33 at the gate for adults; $28 in advance and $31 at the gate for seniors; $18 in advance and $21 at the gate for youth 7-17.
Children younger than 7 are not admitted to the barn.
Lawn tickets are $20 for adults and $14 for youth, with children younger than 7 admitted free. No lawn tickets are sold in advance.
This Sunday, the sounds of Giacomo Puccini, Wolfgang Mozart and Claude Debussy will be heard in “Arias and Arguments: From Love to Loss in Four Acts,” performed by Zachary Gordin, baritone; Shana Blake Hill, soprano; and Paul Hersh, piano.
Anamaria Lloyd will be the narrator.

Yoga class set Sunday
SEQUIM — A Farm Flow yoga class will be held at the Old Dungeness Schoolhouse, 2781 Towne Road, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Suggested donation is $8. First-timers are admitted free.
Led by instructor Julia Buggy, the class features alignment cues, core work and moving with breath, followed by a deep relaxation.
All ages and levels are welcome. Each person is asked to bring a mat.

Norwegian dance
PORT ANGELES — The Sons of Norway will host its weekly Norwegian Dance at 131 W. Fifth St. from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Dance instruction is planned beforehand at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $2 for members and $3 for nonmembers.
This is an all-ages, no smoking and no alcohol event.

West End Thunder
FORKS — West End Thunder will present drag races and car shows from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
A car and motorcycle show also is planned.
The Arlen Pearsall Memorial Race is planned Sunday, weather permitting.
Races are at the Forks Municipal Airport at the south end of Forks on U.S. Highway 101
The cost is $30 per race car/driver, $15 for show car/driver, and general admission is $10 for anyone older than 12.
Pearsall, a founding member of the West End Thunder club, died Feb. 7 of complications from a of a single-car wreck on an icy road south of Forks at the end of January.
Pearsall, 78, was the club’s tech inspector, who looked over cars before they raced to make sure they were in good shape.
