Waterfront Trail link closed east of Rayonier property

The Waterfront Trail in Port Angeles — part of the Olympic Discovery Trail — has been closed to through access between the Rayonier parking lot east to the Morse Creek area until further notice.

Approximately eight slides have occurred in this section of the trail resulting in mud, water and other debris over several areas. City crews will be working to clear the area this week. Progress will depend on weather and conditions.
