PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County offers an orientation for those interested in volunteering with the organization or learning more about it from 11 a.m. to noon July 1.
Volunteer positions are available to fit individual schedules and talents, and training is offered. Presently, positions in equipment delivery are open for both Port Angeles and Sequim areas. Respite and office positions also are available in Port Angeles.
Providing end-of-life nursing care, lending medical equipment and supplies, offering education programs, grief support groups, one-on-one bereavement services and practical workshops on living alone, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County has never charged for its services.
