PORT ANGELES — A Clallam County Volunteer Fair is planned Wednesday to showcase opportunities for members of the public to give back.
The fair will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
The Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce is organizing the fair, which will have a variety of booths.
A partial list of the festivals, events and organizations that plan to have booths at the fair are Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, Soroptimists, Port Angeles Community Players, Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County, Habitat of Humanity of Clallam County, Peninsula Housing Authority, Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Olympic Peninsula Humane Society, RSVP Volunteer Program, Peninsula Adventure Sports, AmeriCorps.
Also, Port Angeles Marathon Association, North Olympic Discovery Marathon & Run the Peninsula; Port Angeles Food Bank, Port Angeles Farmers Market, Clallam County Fair, Clallam 2 Fire Rescue, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, Northwest Colonial Festival, Peninsula Dispute Resolution Center, Olympic Area Agency on Aging, Sequim Irrigation Festival and Clallam Mosaic.
The chamber is seeking volunteers for the roller rink, the ice rink, the Big Spring Spruce Up, the Maritime Festival, the Community 4th of July Celebration, Ride the Hurricane and the Port Angeles Visitors Center.
