VICTORIA — Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate much of the 50th year of her monarchy Oct. 6 within a short walk of where the ferry from Port Angeles docks.
The Canadian government announced Her Majesty’s Jubilee itinerary this week, and the schedule includes events at the Fairmont Empress Hotel and the British Columbia Parliament Building.
Both overlook Victoria’s Inner Harbour, where the MV Coho docks twice daily during the Oct. 4-6 visit of the queen and her husband, Prince Phillip.
