UPDATE: Some wind to continue along coastal areas, including Strait, Admiralty Inlet, Hood Canal

Much of the North Olympic Peninsula was buffeted overnight by strong winds, which peaked in the Strait of Juan de Fuca at 62 mph this morning. The winds onshore have subsided but could whip up again today. Expect breezy conditions into tonight.
