PORT ANGELES — The man city police were looking for after a Tuesday assault and robbery at a west-side RV Park along U.S. Highway 101 has turned himself in.
Ordez Eugene Kompkoff, 19, turned himself in to Clallam County sheriff’s deputies at about 1:20 a.m. this morning (Friday) at the county courthouse, and was taken into custody by Port Angeles police, Port Angeles Police Sgt. Jesse Winfield said.
Kompkoff was the last man sought in the alleged assault and robbery of Daniel Joseph Jenkins, 21, at the Welcome Inn RV Park on Highway 101 near South Fairmount Avenue just after midnight on Tuesday, March 18.
The other two are Zachary Michael Taylor, 20, of Port Angeles, and Joshua Cabe, 26, of Forks.
All three were in the Clallam County jail this morning, each booked for investigation of one count each of first-degree assault, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.
Cabe also was booked for investigation of second-degree theft.
Jenkins had also been arrested, Winfield said, for allegedly assaulting Taylor with a weapon at about 9:45 p.m. March 18.
The assault sent Taylor to Olympic Medical Center with head injuries, Winfield said.
Officers arrested Taylor after he was released from the hospital, about an hour and a half after Jenkins allegedly assaulted him, Winfield said.
Jenkins was not longer listed on the county jail roster this morning.
“My understanding is Jenkins has posted bail and is out,” Winfield said.
