UPDATE: Highway 112 open again after mudslide about 5 miles from Neah Bay

NEAH BAY — A mudslide that reduced state Highway 112 to one lane this morning has been cleared, and the road has been reopened to two-way traffic.

The state Department of Transportation reported that the slide at milepost 5.6 had been cleared as of 12:52 p.m.

The road had been reduced to alternating traffic around the slide since 7:26 a.m. while crews worked at the scene.
