PORT ANGELES — A five-car wreck briefly blocked both lanes of U.S. Highway 101 near the intersection with Barr Road this morning.
Reporter Tom Callis at the scene reports that the white Subaru driven by a mail carrier making a delivery apparently was struck, causing a chain reaction.
The wreck, reported at 10:49 a.m. about 6 miles east of Port Angeles, blocked the highway until about 11:30 a.m.
