SEQUIM — Two Sequim men were injured seriously when their car overturned on Palo Alto Road late Sunday night, authorities said today.
David Elliott, 21, and Neil Strebe, 44, both of Sequim, remained hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in serious condition.
Investigators believe that the 1983 Datsun sedab rolled over when the driver was going too fast northbound on Palo Alto. The car crossed the road at a curve, struck the southbound ditch and turned over, according to Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
Both speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the crash, the Sheriff’s Office said.
