SEQUIM – The Latin vibes of Manteca will resonate at the free outdoor Music in the Park concert in Sequim on Tuesday.
The popular group – which combines earthy blues and funk, sophisticated jazz, traditional Latin music and the powerful rhythms of the Caribbean and Brazil – will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the James Center bandstand in the Water Reuse Demonstration Park, just north of Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on – plus a picnic basket, or grab some food at a downtown store or restaurant and bring it to the concert.
Music in the Park is every Tuesday night through Sept. 11.

This is an all-ages, family event – tap your toes, or get up and dance.
Free movies will follow the Sequim concerts on July 31 (“Happy Feet”) and Aug. 28 (“Fly Away Home”).
Port Angeles has a free outdoor concert on City Pier every Wednesday through Sept. 5 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This Wednesday’s concert will feature the big band/swing music of Stardust.
Port Townsend’s free “Concerts on the Dock” are every Thursday through Aug. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
No Inhibitions, a Dixieland jazz band, will play at this Thursday’s concert.
Port Townsend’s outdoor concerts are in the downtown Quincy Street dock area off Water Street.
In case of inclement weather, the music moves inside to the adjacent Water Street Brewing & Ale House.
Arrive by 5:45 p.m. for the Port Angeles and Port Townsend concerts to claim one of the limited number of chairs available – or bring a lawn chair or blanket.
There is plenty of nearby downtown parking.
