PORT ANGELES — Auditions for “Return to the Forbidden Planet (The Lost Shakespeare Musical)” will be held in Room J-7 next to the Little Theater at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
Director Richard Stephens and musical conductor Kristin Quigley Brye are looking to cast men and women of all ages, sizes and vocal ranges for the show, a musical based on Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” and the 1950s science fiction film “Forbidden Planet.”
The production will take the stage in Port Angeles on Feb. 14-16 and Feb. 21-22.
At the auditions, performers should have a Shakespeare monologue or scene prepared. They will also be asked to sing a song they know well.
