Bike show gears up
PORT ANGELES — The seventh annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Bike Show wraps up today at Ancient Auto Works, 1921 U.S. Highway 101.
The event is free.
the Poker Run leaves Olympic Powersports and returns to Romberg Estate.
Maps will be available at registration starting at 9 a.m.
There will be door prizes to win and a homemade dinner waiting upon return from the run.
The event supports abused, neglected and at-risk children by supporting Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA.

Father’s Day shoot
PORT ANGELES — The Wapiti Bowmen Archery Club, 374 Arnett Road, off Monroe Road, will offer a Father’s Day shoot today.
The club will be open to the public for this shoot.
Members have worked on trails on the 20-acre course. Lifelike targets of badgers, turkeys, bears and elk have been placed in the woods, across the ravines and up the banks.
Club volunteers will start cooking flapjacks and sausage at 7 a.m., and hamburgers will start at around noon.
Both meals are $5 each.
Adult shoot fees are $12 for one day or $20 for two.
Youngsters are welcome for a small fee.

Father’s Day brunch
PORT ANGELES — St. Andrew’s Place will sponsor a Father’s Day brunch buffet at the Masonic Lodge, 622 S. Lincoln St., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
“There will be everything from scrambled eggs to scones and, of course, pancakes,” administrator Laura Dodd said.
The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for kids and $20 for a family (either three adults or two adults with up to three children).
All proceeds benefit Port Angeles’ nonprofit assisted-living community.

Sea star survey
PORT ANGELES — Volunteers will survey sea stars at the Freshwater Bay County Park boat ramp, 300 Freshwater Bay Road, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. today.
Participants will collect data on sea stars to determine the prevalence of sea star wasting disease.
They should wear layers and boots that can get wet and muddy.
There is no cost to participate in the survey.

CARLSBORG — The Pumpkin Patch, on U.S. Highway 101 and Kitchen-Dick Road, will host Hot Rods & Hot Dogs in honor of Father’s Day from noon to 3 p.m. today.

Jubilee concerts
PORT TOWNSEND — Performances of Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor for chorus, soloists and orchestra, plus “Exsultate, jubilate” motet for orchestra and soprano soloist, will be performed today.
The performance, directed by Rebecca Rottsolk, is at 3 p.m.
All performances are in the sanctuary of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1335 Blaine St., where the parish also is celebrating the completion of its newly remodeled vestibule.
Tickets are available at Crossroads Music, 2100 Lawrence St., at a suggested donation of $15 per person.
Guest soloists are Clara Rottsolk and Beth Ann Bonnecroy, sopranos; Joel Cummings, tenor; and Jonathan Silvia, bass.
A 24-member orchestra will join the Jubilee Singers (RainShadow Chorale and Friends).

PORT TOWNSEND — The Olympic Outdoor Club plans a hike today.
The club today will hike the South Indian Island Trail, an easy hike of 4.0 miles round trip, with an elevation gain of 50 feet and a high point of 50 feet.
