SEQUIM — The Skwim Toastmasters Club announced that three of its members have won area competitions and will advance to District 32 competition at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The online competition, part of the Toastmasters 2021 International Speech and Evaluation Contest, will stream on the Zoom internet meeting platform.
Kyle Hall and M.E. Bartholomew will each compete in the speech contest; speech contestants present a five- to seven-minute speech on any subject they choose.
Lindy MacLaine will compete in the evaluation contest. Evaluation contestants observe a five- to seven-minute test speech and then present a two- to three-minute evaluation of the test speech.
