The Peninsula Poll question asked Thursday contained a significant error that was discovered after the fact.
The question asked whether a person agreed with a proposed 10.5 percent increase in the gasoline tax, when the proposal in Gov. Jay Inslee’s transportation tax package before a special session of the state Legislature seeks a reported 10.5-cents per gallon increase, phased in.
We have revised the question for today’s Peninsula Poll. The results will appear in the PDN on Page A2 Monday.
