PORT ANGELES — Tickets for the Petals & Pathways Home Garden Tour sponsored by the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County are now on sale.
Eight homeowners in Port Angeles will open their gardens to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25.
Tickets are $15 prior to the tour and $20 on tour day.
The self-guided tour will feature several urban lots showcasing imaginative gardening in small spaces, said Karen Mahalick, tour chairwoman.
It also will include a 2-acre property with unique focal points connected by wheelchair-accessible paths, she said.
Hybrid rose, rhododendron and colorful bulb collections highlight the tour, Mahalick added.
Vegetable and berry landscape features vary from drought-tolerant plantings and dry streambeds to modest water features.
Three of the gardens are located on one block, providing easy access from one parking location.
Tickets can be purchased from local Master Gardeners and at the WSU Extension office, Airport Garden Center, Green House Nursery and Port Book and News in Port Angeles; and at Over the Fence, Peninsula Nursery, Sunny Farms, Nash’s and Wild Birds Unlimited in Sequim.
They are also available online at www.gardentour.brownpapertickets.com.
