FORKS — Three men who were stranded in the Sol Duc River this afternoon were rescued about 4 p.m.
Their boat was stuck on rocks in the middle of the river near U.S. Highway 101, said Sgt. Brian Kin, of the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
The three men climbed into another boat, a guide boat, by holding onto an anchor rope tied between the two.
They were brought to shore where paramedics awaited.
