SHINE — Two Port Townsend residents were treated at Jefferson Healthcare hospital and discharged after a collision at the intersection of state Highway 104 and Paradise Bay Road on Saturday morning that also injured a Bremerton man.
Bremerton resident Richard Wayne Falley, 88, was traveling south on Paradise Bay Road at 10:43 a.m. when he failed to yield to traffic at the intersection with the state highway, the State Patrol said.
Falley’s 2008 Toyota Scion collided with a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Port Townsend resident Tami Denise Langworthy, 44, that was carrying a passenger, Patrick Richard Schmidt, 44, also of Port Townsend.
Falley was listed in stable condition Saturday afternoon at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton.
His passenger, Gwendolyn Arlene Falley, 86, was not hurt, the State Patrol said.
A citation for failing to yield to traffic is pending for Falley, the State Patrol said.
All those in the wreck were wearing seat belts, and no drugs or alcohol were involved, the State Patrol said.
Both cars were destroyed, the State Patrol said.
